Kunming Mingzhu Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Kunming Nanba Chemical Plant and later Kunming Mingzhu Chemical Co., Ltd., was founded in 1963 as a state-owned medium-sized chemical enterprise. After decades of development, it has grown into the largest and most technologically advanced water treatment chemical manufacturer in Southwest China, integrating R&D, production and sales of various water treatment products.
In 2004, the company completed property right reform in accordance with modern enterprise system requirements, transformed into a private enterprise, and was renamed "Kunming Mingzhu Chemical Co., Ltd.". In 2011, to support urban construction, expand production capacity and boost economic benefits, the production base was relocated from No. 3 Yangxianpo, Xuefu Road, Kunming to No. 7 Tianshui Road, Yanglin Development Zone, Songming County, Kunming, Yunnan Province. In 2019, the company launched a new journey under the name "Kunming Mingzhu Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.".
Currently, the company has over 100 employees, including 50 professional technicians. It mainly develops and produces Yunnan Famous Brand products: "Mingzhu" series water treatment chemicals such as aluminum sulfate and polyaluminum chloride. These products are widely used in drinking water purification, domestic sewage treatment, industrial wastewater recycling, papermaking, mineral processing, food additives, food preservation, construction engineering and other industries.
As well-known public-benefit water purification agents with excellent market reputation, "Mingzhu" aluminum sulfate and polyaluminum chloride sell well in Yunnan Province, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangxi and other domestic markets, and are exported to Southeast Asian countries including Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar
